Troubleshooting

RokTempo displaying inconsistent tempos while using the DrumClip. Depending on the playing style it is possible that the RokTempo can pick up the kick drum if the threshold is set lower than 13. A setting 10 – 12 is usually used for playing lightly with brushes or sticks. It will also pickup ghost notes more easily at this setting causing inconsistent tempos. Use a setting of 13 – 20 if you are playing more of a moderate level, possibly higher if you are also playing ghost notes. Note : If the RokTempo is mounted directly to the drum the values mentioned above will be higher, start with a threshold of 15 for light playing and 20 or above for more if a moderate level.
