This piece of gear has been crucial during gigs. This thing has boosted my confidence in my time keeping woes. I used the Rok Tempo 1 for a couple years now and I just ordered the Rok Tempo 2 . I highly recommend the Rok Tempo 2. Its ability to store the BPM’s of dozens of songs is especially useful. I was recently asked to fill in with a band that played at least ten songs I’d previously not known. Having the BPM’s loaded into the Rok Tempo 2 helped me to quickly learn the songs. As an added bonus, appearing at rehearsal with the Rok Tempo 2 showed my new band mates that I was the right person for the job, that I was serious about playing the songs properly. Over the years, I’ve found that while auditioning for gigs, letting prospective band mates know that you use a tool that ensures you’re playing the right BPM’s can help you land those gigs. You need to get the RokTempo 2 (and the optional drum clip)!

SPOON –
This piece of equipment has been essential with my live performances. My group is a legendary 70’s R&B group, so we don’t use stems or click tracks. everything is completely live with the exception of some samples. I have the tempos now listed on my set list. Oh, let’s not talk about the elimination of those annoying comments about you’re “slowing down or speeding up” THE LOCK & GROOVE IS REAL! The consistency is refreshing. Appreciate you guys!
